Emana Rachelle is an actress, writer, comedian, and independent producer. She is the owner of Macon Drive Dreams, a production company dedicated to stories that showcase strong, Black, female leads.
Emana is an established actor on stage and screen with membership in SAG-AFTRA and AEA. She is a trained Mezzo-Soprano with Off Broadway and New York theatre credits: NOLLYWOOD DREAMS (MCC) and IN THE NAME OF (The Shed NYC). Select television credits include Issa Rae’s INSECURE, AMAZON PRIME's #LOVEMYROOMIE, and NBC's 30 ROCK. Theatre: CLYBOURNE PARK (Francine/Lena), RUINED (Sophie), A FUNNY THING HAPPENED on the WAY to the FORUM (Domina), and international tours in South Africa and Holland. Emana is an experienced audiobook narrator with select voice over credits to include: Rockstar Games, Kit-Kat, Cosentyx, AT&T, and T-Mobile.

In 2020 she created and produced, “Rehearsal Report,” an online series of behind the scenes interviews with industry creatives. Prominent guests included Issa Rae and Emmy nominated actors, Melvin Jackson, Jr. and Kelly Jenrette. Season 2 is in development. She was the 2018-2019 I Am Soul Producing Resident at the National Black Theatre (NBT) where she served as Production Manager for the 50th anniversary season. Additionally, Emana Rachelle wrote, created, conceived and oversaw all aspects of production for the one day event, “Black Girls Are From Outer Space,” directed by Kimille Howard.
Emana received her MFA from West Virginia University (WVU) where she was a W.E.B. DuBois Graduate Fellow. She completed additional training from the British American Drama Academy (BADA) and NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts (BFA). Emana also holds a Master’s in Public Administration (MPA).
